Abu Dhabi’s first Hindu temple, built in Nagara style, resembles Ayodhya’s Ram Temple.

The temple symbolizes UAE-India friendship and tolerance.

Nagara architecture:

·         Features shikhara (mountain peak) over sanctum sanctorum.

·         Includes circumambulatory passage and mandapas (halls).

·         Shikhara symbolizes cosmic order and divine presence.

·         Five shikhara design modes: Valabhi, Phamsana, Latina, Shekhari, Bhumija.

·         Valabhi and Phamsana: Early Nagara styles from wooden structures.
